The standard Honda GC160 5HP Over Head Cam Engine is very light, quiet, powerful and easy to start. To change the engine oil just remove the dipstick, place a pan at the rear of the blower and tip it backwards. The dipstick holder acts as a pour spout directing the oil right into the pan.

The HS520's auger system is single stage design with rubber tips which contact the surface and provide a semi selfpropelled result. The rubber tipped augers also cleans right down to the surface of the drive or walkway. In addition, this is very good for unistone applications as the rubbers will not chip their surfaces.

The controls are very simple! There is an on/off switch, choke knob and a single lever on the discharge chute which controls left/right and up or down adjustments.

The HS520 has excellent power and is capable of clearing heavy snow. The HS520 is capable of throwing snow up 30 feet depending on the conditions.

The truly unique component of the HS622 series other than the obvious track drive system is the auger drive system. It utilizes a motorcycle type, multi-friction disk drive that connects the auger drive shaft directly to the engine - no drive belts or pulleys! This type of system is more efficient and transmits maximum horsepower to the auger. The result is a 6 horsepower snowblower that has the performance of much larger competitors machines. The other most notable feature of the HS622s is their overall balance, traction and maneuverability capabilities. This is something you only get a true feel for after demonstrating one.

The hydrostatic transmission allows you to set the ground speed independently of engine and auger speed to perfectly match the snow conditions.

To activate the tilt feature all you have to do is pull on the right hand lower lever and with either downward or lifting action on the control handles the desired auger housing height can be quickly obtained.

The wheel driven unit does not have the same traction as the track types and are not as maneuverable because the axle is solid which requires more room to turn.

Honda's Hybrid system for the HS1336ic employs two separate drive systems in one machine – a four-stroke gasoline engine for snow clearing, and 2 electric motors for directional control and forward and reverse motion.
